Job Title: Electrical Assembler
Department: Electrical Pre Assembly (EPA)
Position Summary:
The Electrical Assembler is responsible for the installation and assembly of electrical systems and components in accordance with engineering drawings, schematics, and safety standards. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong electrical foundation and the ability to work with hand tools in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Assemble and install electrical wiring, cabling, and components based on schematics and technical documentation
+ Wire electrical panels and connectors with attention to detail and accuracy
+ Strip, crimp, and terminate small and large gauge wires and cables
+ Operate electrical hand tools safely and effectively
+ Interpret drawings, schematics, and blueprints for proper installation
+ Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company quality standards
+ Maintain clean and organized workstations
+ Report defects and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics, electrical drawings, and technical prints
+ Comfortable using various electrical hand tools
+ Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Preferred Qualifications:
+ IPC or other relevant certifications
+ Prior experience with electrical assembly or panel wiring
+ Familiarity with mechanical and structural assembly practices
+ Minimum of 2 years of electrical or mechanical assembly experience (for higher levels)
+ Kaizen or Lean Manufacturing awareness a plus
Work Environment:
+ Manufacturing shop floor setting
+ Requires frequent standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and use of hand tools
+ Personal protective equipment (PPE) required and provided
