    The main purpose of the Nickelodeon Universe and Entertainment Scheduler is:

    + Coordination of efficient and organized scheduling responsibilities for Nickelodeon Universe and Entertainment staff

    Primary Responsibilities:

    + Create and publish weekly schedules for the Nickelodeon Universe Leadership, Ride Operators and Entertainment Staff using Dayforce in a timely manner.

    + Document time off requests and manage availability requests and changes.

    + Document training certifications.

    + Coordinate Dayforce training to all staff and new hires.

    + Provided detailed/high level communication between front line staff and department leaders.

    + Monitor attraction presales to appropriately staff the amusement park and entertainment departments for daily traffic, special events, additional trainings, and other scheduling requests as required

    + Coordinate and host bi-weekly scheduling meeting with department leadership managers.

    + Provide insight and recommendations into staffing configurations, training, and process improvements.

    + Create and maintain staffing illustrations to communicate where team members should be placed.

    + Analyze daily traffic flows within the areas to ensure/recommend efficient use of labor.

    + Track and monitor attendance records for all Nickelodeon Universe and Entertainment staff.

    + Coach, document, prepare, and file corrective action to address attendance concerns with all staff.

    + Partner with DreamWorks Water Park and Guest Experience schedulers to fill in for scheduler absences and assistance with duties and tasks assigned in both areas.

    + Assist with other duties as assigned.

    Desired Qualifications:

    + Minimum of 2 years' experience in a team leadership role with responsibility for scheduling employees or operational deployment of staff.

    + Knowledge of Dayforce software preferred

    + Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required

    + Knowledge of general business principles to be most efficient in meeting labor goals.

    + Ability to organize and multitask.

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills required

    + Ability to make impartial decisions and maintain a positive work environment.

    + Strong interpersonal and guest service skills.
