The Department of Chemistry at Syracuse University invites applicants for a tenured Associate Professor position in Medicinal Chemistry. Candidates with innovative research programs in drug design and discovery, pharmacology and toxicology, novel biological targets, and cheminformatics or computational chemistry are encouraged to apply, as are those with experience with preclinical or clinical trials of their novel compounds. The candidate will join a growing cohort of faculty in medicinal chemistry and encourages interdisciplinary research that spans multiple departments and colleges. The department is committed to diversity and inclusion in higher education, as well as educational outreach in the surrounding Syracuse city community.
