As a vital member of our community, you will be responsible for safeguarding the well-being and security of our residents, staff, and facilities during nighttime hours.

    Job Summary:

    As a Security Officer at The Village at Orchard Ridge, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment during nighttime hours. This includes patrolling the premises, monitoring CCTV systems, responding to emergencies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

    Requirements

    + High school graduate or equivalent education is preferred.

    + One year of experience in a security related field is preferred

    + Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record

    + Relate and work well with others

    + Attention to record keeping and documentation of work performed. Understand, perform and enforce applicable NLCS and departmental policies and procedures

    + Possess a working knowledge of applicable state laws, especially those dealing with the use of force and detention

    + Ability to follow written and oral instructions

    + Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision

    + Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

    + Ability to read and speak English
