Role: Alteryx Data Engineer

Key Skills Required
Alteryx development with
platform SDK, SQL, and Python.
User support for
database connectivity issues, consult on workflow development basics for new
users, consult on work flow optimization strategies.
Primary Activities
Significant testing
coordination with cross functional teams to test their workflows in cert
environment after major upgrades.
New platform feature
release and communication. Quarterly upgrades.
Help Alteryx
Administrator build Power BI reports to monitor the Alteryx platform.
L3 Support, Tech Ops.
Qualification
Bachelor-s degree in
Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent
work experience).
4+ years of experience
developing data automation workflows in Alteryx, including Alteryx SDK.
4+ years of experience
building data pipelines on databricks using Pyspark/Python.
Previous experience in a
managed services role or IT support (typically 5+ years).
Application Services
Provide technical
support for business-critical software applications, diagnosing and resolving
user issues in a timely manner.
Monitor application
performance, resolve technical issues, and perform root cause analysis for
recurring problems.
Serve as the primary
point of contact for application-related inquiries, working with users to
address their needs.
Release & Deployment
Participate in the
testing of new or updated applications, ensuring they meet functional
requirements and quality standards.
Assist with the release
& deployment and rollout of new software versions or updates to users.
Ensure smooth transition
and minimal disruption during application changes, including user training
and documentation.
Test and deploy
enhancements as per requirements.
Reporting &
Management
Collect and analyze data
from the applications to generate reports and provide insights to
stakeholders.
Monitor application
usage and performance metrics to identify trends and potential issues.
Provide recommendations
for improving workflows or streamlining processes through better application
use.
Work with project
managers and customers to ensure the applications meet evolving business
requirements.
Update application and
architecture documentation as needed.
Soft Skills
Excellent
problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication
skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to
non-technical users.
Customer-oriented, with
the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
Experience with IT
service management frameworks preferred (e.g., ITIL).
Knowledge of application
performance monitoring tools.
Knowledge of Databricks
and Oracle RDBMS.
Experience with Azure
Integration Services.
Familiarity with
databases (SQL, Oracle, etc.) and querying for data analysis.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related
field.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is 115000 125000 per annum.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
