• Senior Software Developer

    ManTech (Herndon, VA)


    ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Senior Software Developer** to join our team in **Herndon, VA** . This is an onsite position.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    + Develop and update custom software code for financial systems

    + Analyze problem reports and prepare accurate schedule estimates to develop solutions

    + Document software code sufficiently and accurately

    + Provide support to business analysts and testers in identifying anomalies

    + Reliably and accurately report progress within the software development support tools

    + Provide program documentation input for design and solution elements.

    + Assist junior developers and manage development tasks as needed

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (4 years)

    + 5+ years of C++ development experience

    + 2+ years of webMethods development experience

    + 4+ years of experience in Java programming

    + 3 + years of experience writing complex SQL queries

    + Experience working in an Oracle RDBMS environment

    + Exposure to large scale ERP development solutions

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience supporting Momentum Financial Management software

    + 2+ years of experience working with Javascript

    + Familiar with BIRT Report Designer and Hyperion SQR

    + Fundamental understanding of federal financials

    + Knowledge of Momentum Financials

    + Knowledge of the SAP Business Objects tool suite

    Clearance Requirements:

    + Must have Current/Active Secret clearance

    Physical Requirements:

    + The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

    + Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery.

    + Ability to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and/or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
