    BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a **Mental Health Technician** to join our outstanding and compassionate team at Behavioral Health King Helie- Child !

    Mental Health Technician Prime Pool Position Details:

    + **Facility:** Behavioral Health King Helie- Child

    + **Location:** Tampa, FL

    + **Status:** Pool, Hourly

    + **Shift Hours:** 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

    + **Weekend Work:** Every Other

    + **On Call:** No

    Responsibilities:

    + Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.

    + Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.

    + Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN.

    + Promotes coordination of the unit by completing orders, making phone calls and directing calls and information to the charge nurse.

    Requirements:

    + BLS (Basic Life Support)

    + High School or Equivalent

    + FL Driver's License

    + Preferred - Associate's in Healthcare/Psychology

    + Preferred - CNA/PCT

    Preferred Experience:

    + 6 months - Psychology based experience
