Geisinger Primary Care South Wilkes-Barre is seeking a Family Medicine, for an outpatient only Primary Care opportunity in Wilkes Barre, PA.

Job Duties

Geisinger Primary Care South Wilkes-Barre is the home of the Kistler Family Medicine Residency program, a three-year dedicated family medicine residency clinic. ​

In addition to treating all patient ages, the physician will have an opportunity to work with onsite medical students and precept residents.

At the clinic, you will experience:

+ Outpatient only clinic schedule – variable work week

+ Physician panel sharing model

+ Nurse call center to assist with on-call workload

+ Nurse coordinators support high needs patients

+ Centralized prescription refill team

+ Interdisciplinary team and quick access to specialty services

+ Epic EMR – universal throughout Geisinger

+ Ambient dictation

We take pride in the support we provide our physicians:

+ Compensation – competitive salary ranges from $320k to $375k based on experience

+ Up to $250k recruitment incentives

+ Residency/Fellowship stipend – up to 45k; available up to 18 months prior to graduation

+ Geography Stipend – up to 20k at specific clinics

+ Continuing medical education – 15 working days and $4,500 CME funds

+ Fully paid relocation

+ 401k – Geisinger annually contributes over $15k
