    Lighting Technician

     

    Job Scope

     

    + As a Lighting Technician, you will be responsible for installing lighting products safely and neatly in customer’s facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of professional customer service and have a vast knowledge of lighting retrofit strategies. Additionally, there is a hiring bonus for bringing a complete crew.

    + Responsibilities:

    + Comply with FSG safety policies.

    + Install lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, controls, or other items associated with lighting systems.

    + Work in a safe manner so as not to damage or disturb customer's facilities.

    + Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures. Perform physically demanding tasks while conveying knowledge of basic/specialized tools and equipment throughout the service job/work order process.

    + Must understand and conform to Government/Local regulations and ordinances as well as any/all required Safety Guidelines.

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    + High School Diploma or General Education Degree

    + At least 2-4 years of lighting and electrical experience.

    + Lighting and retrofit experience preferred.

    + Valid driver’s license

    + Willingness to travel

    + Must be reliable.

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills

    + Positive customer service skills

    WE OFFER

    Status: Full-Time

     

    Schedule: Normal working hours of Monday-Friday 7AM – 3:00PM. This position may offer or require overtime, weekend, night or holiday work.

     

    Pay Rate: $38.00-42.00 per hour, * depending on experience. *
