Responsible for performing all necessary tasks for filtering ice cream and Dairy Dessert mixes. These tasks include but not limited to, sorting rework tubs, filtering mixes, running CIPs, COP equipment, daily cleaning activities, documentation of what was filtered, coordinating with the mix room and the freezer in storing and thawing rework.

+ Operation of the Kason filtering system.

+ Sort and organize incoming rework mixes coming from production.

+ Verify allergens from the rework mixes, isolate them when filtering.

+ Document all rework mixes filtered, keep records of what was sent to the freezer.

+ Coordinate with mix and freezer personnel in moving totes to and from the freezer.

+ Complete appropriate CIP/ cleaning procedures.

+ Manage daily and weekly cleaning list activities.

+ Assist Process Operators in setup/ batching of mixes.

+ Forklift Certification preferred.
