JOB SUMMARY

**Work Shift:** 9:00 am - 5:30 pm

This position may be eligible for a sign on bonus!

The Phlebotomy Coordinator takes requests from departments and affiliated medical facilities to schedule appointments for collection of specimens. This individual records accurate information in website databases for the Marshfield Clinic Health System to utilize within established timeframes and guidelines. The Phlebotomy Coordinator must provide accurate information for billing procedures and maintaining records required by federal, state or organizational guidelines.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

_For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation._

**Minimum Required:** High school diploma or equivalent.

**Preferred/Optional:** Successful completion of a medical terminology course and post-secondary courses related to health care.

EXPERIENCE

**Minimum Required:** Experience with customer service. Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.

**Preferred/Optional:** Two years’ experience with customer service within a healthcare organization.
