    Job Description:

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Security Officer l is an active member in the Security Team as well as the First Responder Team. This individual provides a wide variety of safety and security activities and services. The Security Officer l maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.

    WORK SHIFT

    Sat and Sun; 3:00pm - 11:00pm

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION

    _For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation._

     

    **Minimum Required:** High school diploma or equivalent.

    **Preferred/Optional:** Post high school education with emphasis on security or law enforcement.

    EXPERIENCE

    **Minimum Required:** None

    **Preferred/Optional:** One year in protective services or safety related field or currently enrolled in a safety or security related coursework. Experience with security functions in a healthcare setting.

    CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

    _The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position._

     

    **Minimum Required:** within 6 months’ of start date: State of Wisconsin valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. Basic Life Support (BLS) or First Aid certification, awarded by the American Heart Association. First Responder Certified. Non-violent Crisis Intervention trained.

    **Preferred/Optional:** None
