Join PDS Tech Commercial as a Material Planner/Scheduler – Drive Efficiency in a Leading Global Manufacturing Organization!

**Location:** Athens, GA | **Pay Rate:** $29 - $35/hour | **Schedule:** Mon - Fri (8am - 5pm)

Job Summary:

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Material Planner/Scheduler to join a dynamic global leader in high-technology heating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration solutions. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless flow of materials to support production schedules, optimize supplier performance, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. You will play a crucial role in helping us maintain our industry-leading position by managing material flow and reducing inefficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Plan, order, and expedite materials to support production schedules.

+ Use MRP and visual management tools to ensure continuous material supply.

+ Issue timely releases to suppliers and confirm acknowledgment of releases.

+ Address and mitigate any material shortages proactively.

+ Manage planning parameters to minimize excess inventory and obsolete materials.

+ Collaborate in improvement activities, focusing on material presentation, warehouse layout, and process enhancements.

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, or Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience, or an Associate degree with 8+ years of experience in materials or purchasing.

+ Experience in materials management and/or purchasing in a manufacturing environment.

+ Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and experience with MRP systems (JDE-Oracle preferred).

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) certification.

+ Previous experience in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.

**Pay Details:** $29.00 to $35.00 per hour
