    Our client, a leading player in the aerospace industry, is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join their team. As a Supply Chain Planner, you will be part of the logistics and operations department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a high service orientation, and a natural curiosity which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Supply Chain Planner

    **Location:** Charleston, SC

    **Pay Range:** $60,000 - $88,800

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Overall responsibility for planning materials from the stage of receiving the customer order until the delivery of materials to inventory.

    + Implementation of make/buy decisions based on capabilities, capacity, and costs.

    + Monitoring the implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECO) across all supply entities.

    + Analysis of Lead-time Impact (LLI) and tracking of mitigations to shorten lead time both internally and externally.

    + Continuously monitoring material convergence from the procurement request phase until receipt in the warehouse.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Engineering education – Engineer/Technician in Industrial Engineering and Management or a bachelor’s degree in economics and/or Logistics.

    + Experience in production planning or a role in the supply chain – at least two years.

    + High proficiency in Office applications.

    + Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and data analysis.

    + Good people skills and the ability to lead and manage multiple tasks and interfaces simultaneously.
