**Our client, a leading industrial automation company, is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team.** As a **Controls Engineer** , you will be part of the **Engineering Department** , supporting the **Automation and Commissioning Teams** . The ideal candidate will have **strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and excellent communication** , which will align successfully in the organization.

What’s the Job?
+ Design and commission industrial control systems, including PLC programming and HMI development.
+ Develop and install PLC/HMI code, troubleshoot, and support on-site commissioning.
+ Program and integrate peripheral devices, coordinate machine debug, power-up, and validation with build and electrical teams.
+ Ensure system designs and programming align with customer specifications and industry standards.
+ Travel to customer sites for installation, startup, and support of automated systems.
What’s Needed?
+ 3+ years of experience in Controls Engineering, PLC, and HMI programming.
+ Expertise in Rockwell Allen Bradley (Studio 5000, RSLogix, or Controllogix) or Siemens Step 7 (TIA Portal, WinCC) programming.
+ Strong knowledge of motion control programming/commissioning (Servos, VFD, etc.).
+ Familiarity with SCADA (Ignition), programming languages (Python, C#/.NET, Java), and hardware design (AutoCAD, ePlan) is a plus.
+ Experience working with fieldbus networks (DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, ProfiNet).
