    *Position Summary:*Northeastern Nevada Physician Practices is seeking a friendly, motivated, Medical Assistant to join a well-established practice. This is a full-time benefited position, working Monday – Friday 8-hour shifts.

     

    Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital is looking for a full time Medical Assistant to work as in our Pediatrics clinic. The responsibilities of the Medical Assisting include providing direct patient care, chart work, clinical procedures and assisting in medical practice. Must be proficient in medical terminology, detail oriented and self-motivated.

     

    This position reports directly to Practice Manager and Physician.

     

    *Minimum Qualifications:*

    * Education: Graduation from a certified Medical Assistant program preferred.

    * License/Certification: American Heart Association BLS certification required within 60-days of hire.

    * Experience: 1 – 2 years medical office experience preferred. Previous Medical Assistant and front office experience preferred.

    * Other Requirements: Excellent customer service skills. Typing and grammatical skills. Demonstrates attitude of cooperation and professionalism.
