We have an outstanding career opportunity for aMachine Setup Operatorto join a leading Company located in theSalem, VAsurrounding area.

Responsibilities :

+ Set up and operate production machines such as lathes, grinders, and mills based on blueprints and specifications.

+ Install and align machine components including holding fixtures, cutting tools, and accessories.

+ Perform machine changeovers and adjustments efficiently and accurately.

+ Inspect finished products for defects and troubleshoot machine issues as needed.

+ Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following company policies and procedures.

+ Train new employees and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Basic Hiring Criteria :

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

Desired Qualifications :

+ Associate degree or apprenticeship.

+ Ability to read engineering designs and interpret technical documentation.

+ Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of production equipment.

+ Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows.

+ Experience with coolant, cutting oils, and machine operation (1+ year preferred).
