As a Lead Civil Engineer – Aviation, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and delivering innovative airside and landside solutions that enhance connectivity, efficiency, and sustainability across the region.     Responsibilities & Qualifications

    What You’ll Do:

    + Lead the planning, design, and execution of airside and landside aviation projects throughout New Jersey and the Northeast.

    + Serve as Project Manager, ensuring successful project delivery, quality assurance, and compliance with FAA, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ), NJDOT, and TSA regulations.

    + Develop and maintain strong relationships with airport authorities, aviation agencies, and industry partners across the Northeast.

    + Play a key role in business development, including the Go/No-Go decision-making process and strategic pursuit planning.

    + Provide technical leadership and oversight on aviation infrastructure projects, including runways, taxiways, terminals, and support facilities.

    + Coordinate public engagement and agency approvals to streamline project implementation.

    + Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.

    What You’ll Bring:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.

    + Professional Engineer (PE) license in New Jersey or the ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity.

    + 15+ years of experience in airport airside, landside, and infrastructure projects, including knowledge of FAA, TSA, PANYNJ, and NJDOT regulations.

    + Expertise in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation, with a proven ability to manage project schedules, teams, and subconsultants.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation in aviation infrastructure.
