    Required Skills:

    Hw Product Engineer Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and standardize sensor test program platform to support both custom design and off shelf sensors, including image sensor, ambient light sensor, and depth sensor.

    2. Structure automation test program and data analysis program.

    3. Develop GUI based test program to enable sensor control, image streaming, and image data analysis.

    4. Responsible for sensor test board bring-up and validation.

    5. Develop API engine to integrate board, sensor, and external instrument control.

    6. Responsibilities spanning all aspects of product bring-up and test: write, debug, and integrate new device drivers, protocols, and other firmware code for bench test.

    7. Ownership of lab automation, writing programs and scripts for new device test and characterization.

    8. Provide firmware/software support for hardware testing and diagnosis.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    9. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

    10. Requires 2 years of experience in the following:

    11. 1. Python or Matlab programing for automation test control and data analysis

    12. 2. Hardware development board bring-up and troubleshooting

    13. 3. GUI application interface design for test system control, including instrument control, device under test control

    14. 4. Using Git to manage projects

    15. 5. Driver and board-level system software development (C, C++), familiar with communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, USB and

    16. 6. Light source evaluation and calibration with automation control in light power measurement using optical sensors.

    Public Compensation:

    $234,318/year to $290,180/year + bonus + equity + benefits
