    BayCare is looking for its newest Exercise Physiologist in St. Petersburg, FL. The Cardiopulmonary Rehab Exercise Physiologist serves as a member of the rehab team engaged in performing cardio-pulmonary services. Demonstrate competence in the development and leadership of exercise programs for cardio-pulmonary patients. Evaluate and supervise the patients and remain current in approaches, exercise prescription and treatment of the cardio-pulmonary patient. Act as a preceptor for exercise interns and provide education to the staff and patients in the area of expertise.

    Licensure & Certification:

    • BLS is required

    • ACLS is preferred

    • ACSM-CES is preferred

    Education:

    • Required Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology or Bachelor’s in Related Field

    • Preferred Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology

    Experience:

    • Preferred experience is 2 years Cardiac Rehabilitation
