As an Interim Accounting Professional at RGP, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial integrity of our client’s operations. You will be responsible for managing the month-end close process, preparing and posting journal entries, and performing account reconciliations. Your expertise will help identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.

+ Manage and execute the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

+ Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.

+ Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

+ Maintain detailed documentation and support for all journal entries.

+ Review and analyze account balances, making necessary adjustments as needed.

+ Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information and resolve discrepancies.

+ Perform account reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved.

+ Investigate and resolve any variances or discrepancies in a timely manner.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

+ Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

+ Ability to lead month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliation.

+ Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite.
