    As a CBRE Metrology Specialist, you will be responsible for service delivery to customers and the preventive maintenance of equipment. This role is part of the Critical and Specialized Services job function.

    What you’ll do

    + Calibrate, inspect, measure, and test equipment for accuracy under established calibration procedures.

    + Maintain secondary or intrinsic or working calibration standards using software to expedite times and to adjust devices.

    + Ensure technical support is available for field and sales personnel.

    + Complete work requests and project tasks.

    + Keep up with the latest metrology methods and theories to keep the department proficient.

    + Have a thorough knowledge of all laboratory standard operating procedures. Use knowledge to help guide daily laboratory activities.

    + Assist with Metrology laboratory workload planning.

    + Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.

    + Have a broad knowledge of own job field and some knowledge of several job subject areas within the function.

    + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.

    + Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.

    + Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

    + Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.

    What you’ll need

    + High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

    + Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

    + Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.

    + Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.

    + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

    + Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

    + Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

    CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the **Metrology Specialist** position is $75,000 annually and the maximum salary for the **Metrology Specialist** position is $92,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance
