    Join CBRE Group as a Sr Engineering Operations Manager and play a crucial role in our ambitious real estate projects in Tampa, FL. This is an outstanding opportunity to plan, implement, coordinate, and manage comprehensive mechanical operations, maintenance, and workforce development programs for a dynamic portfolio of buildings.     What you’ll do

    + Lead inspections and surveys, including energy audits, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, and environmental compliance.

    + Supervise technical operations, including system air balancing reports, boiler, chiller, and cooling tower performance testing.

    + Develop and improve preventive maintenance and engineering procedures, hazardous materials plans, and indoor air quality programs.

    + Ensure compliance with life safety programs, domestic water quality control, and environmental safety standards.

    + Craft and manage construction projects, including HVAC system comparisons and start-up monitoring.

    + Assist with due diligence and evaluations for potential acquisitions or development projects.

    + Recommend building automation, energy management, and temperature control systems.

    + Conduct value-engineering studies and evaluate contractor qualifications.

    + Provide formal supervision, mentor team members, and model what we value.

    What you’ll need

    + Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS or equivalent experience) and a minimum of seven years’ experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + Knowledge of applicable practices, laws, and environmental regulations.

    + Preferred certifications: Local Operating Engineer's License, Systems Maintenance Administrator (SMA), Real Property Administrator (RPA).

    + Proficient with EMS programming, fire alarm systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

    + Universal CFC certification required.

    + Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems.

    + In-depth financial knowledge with experience in budget forecasting and analysis.

    + Strong presentation skills and the ability to deliver compelling pitches.

    + Confirmed understanding of asset management, property management, leasing, and construction.

    + Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
