Position Title: Summer Camp Counselor Status : Hourly, non-exempt 8 weeks

Job Summary/Duties and Responsibilities

We are looking to hire a number of Summer Camp Counselors at our Day Camp based in downtown Chicago. Setup as a traditional Day Camp, in a premier independent school facility, we offer a full day of sports, crafts, cooking, science and much more!

If you love working with kids ages 4 through 13, and enjoy running around in the summertime, this job is for you!

Our camp starts on Monday, June 16, 2025, and ends Friday, August 1st, 2025

Camp is closed on Monday, June 19th and Thursday July 3rd and Friday, July 4th.

The hours are from 8:00am to 3:15pm. Perks; opportunity to pick up extra hours for our after-camp program and lunch provided.

There will be mandatory staff training held before the beginning of camp, the week of June 9th-June 13th.

Preferred Qualifications

+ We need reliable, hardworking, and fun personalities.

+ Must be 18 years of age or older and be available for all 7 weeks to be considered.

+ For the summer of 2025, all camp counselors who are eligible to receive the vaccine, need to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 before beginning.

+ Background working with school-based auxiliary programs or summer camps

+ A valid First Aid and CPR Certification issued by an authorized agency is welcomed

+ Compensation varies based on experience, and the range is $17-$22 an hour.
