Jacobs is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Rio Rancho, NM. You will be responsible for the overall management and leadership of the project including profit and loss, permit compliance, safety, quality, and employee supervision and management including staffing, compensation, training and development. Working with other members of our team you will build and maintain positive business and customer relationships, and be responsible for the planning, organization, operations, maintenance and improvement of the facility. You will also be responsible for implementing safety policy and procedures and maintaining the operation process control including compliance with regulatory agencies.

• 10 minimum years of experience in wastewater, water or laboratory operations
• New Mexico Wastewater, Water, or Laboratory Operator Level 4 Certification
• Experience working with union bargaining teams and supervising union associates
• Proficient performing mathematical and algebraic calculations associated with wastewater and advance water treatment
• Experience with CMMS - Maintenance Connection and asset network management
• Managing budgets and inventory controls
• Knowledge of Industrial Controls Systems and technologies
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Valid New Mexico driver’s license with no major infractions
Ideally, You'll Also Have:
• 15 minimum years of experience in wastewater, water or laboratory operations

Additional demands may involve a specific level of dexterity, grip strength, climbing and cardiorespiratory demands. The work areas may be indoor, outdoor, have loud noise, active machinery, high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, and chemicals. The use of appropriate safety equipment will be mandatory in these areas to prevent hazardous contact.
