    We are looking for a driven and curious client-focused, Ports and Maritime Site Civil Engineer. In this position, you’ll have the chance to work with our global multi-disciplinary team of engineers on ports and maritime projects worldwide. You’ll be involved as part of the team with design, analysis, and delivery of projects ranging from local waterfront projects to large scale international port developments in the cruise, cargo and ferry industries. We’ll provide you the challenge of working on coordination and design of new ports and maritime related site civil engineering projects.

     

    As one of our Civil Engineers, you will assist in the preparation of site civil designs, including land development, site layouts, roadway layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, fencing, striping, signage, stormwater, etc., contract drawings and specifications, cost estimates, construction schedules, engineering reports, and construction/field reports. You will be given the opportunity to interface with clients and subconsultants, give presentations and work on technical proposals. We’ll rely on you to provide support to our teams on critical projects while fostering a culture of continuous learning and inclusion as you bring fresh ideas to the table

    * Bachelor or Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, or related engineering field from an ABET accredited university or college.

    * 2-5 years of professional experience in site civil engineering.

    * Familiarity with Microstation or AutoCAD Civil 3D software.

    * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

    Ideally, you’ll also have:

    * Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, or related engineering field from an ABET accredited university or college

    * Engineer in Training (EIT) and or Professional Engineering License (PE) in California or ability to obtain within 6 months.

    * Familiarity with CBC, IBC, SSPWC
