Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Lead with 8 to 12 years of experience in Automation Testing GIT Jenkins DevOps Python Test Automation soap UI Ansible and shell script. The ideal candidate will have domain expertise in Customer Premises Equipment. This role requires a proactive individual who can work effectively in a day shift with no travel requirements.

Responsibilities

+ Lead the testing efforts for various projects ensuring high-quality deliverables.

+ Oversee the creation and execution of manual test cases to identify defects and ensure software quality.

+ Provide expertise in Shell Script to automate repetitive tasks and improve testing efficiency.

+ Utilize GIT for version control and collaborate with the development team to manage code repositories.

+ Implement and manage Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment.

+ Apply DevOps principles to streamline the software development lifecycle and improve collaboration.

+ Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Python to enhance testing coverage and reduce manual effort.

+ Use soapUI for API testing to ensure the reliability and performance of web services.

+ Implement Ansible for configuration management and automation of deployment processes.

+ Ensure thorough testing of Customer Premises Equipment to meet industry standards and customer expectations.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide testing insights.

+ Document and report defects working closely with developers to resolve issues promptly.

+ Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

+ Must have strong experience in Manual Testing Shell Script GIT Jenkins DevOps Python Test Automation soapUI and Ansible.

+ Must have domain expertise in Customer Premises Equipment.

+ Should have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

+ Should possess strong communication and collaboration skills.

+ Should be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.

+ Should be proactive and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

+ Should have a strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
