Our mission is to provide career-based technical and academic training and job placement assistance to low-income youth ages 16-24.

This position is part time (10 hours per week, flexible within the hours of 8:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday), overseeing our CNA Training Program for young adults and working closely with our full time CNA Training Instructor

Job Description:

Responsible for providing oversight of the C.N.A. training program. Collect and maintain all data relating to student performance and outcomes. Ensures quality programming that provides students with industry-recognized training and credentials. Provides transitional support leading to quality full-time jobs, higher education, military or advanced training. Identifies and develops Center-beneficial partnerships that lead to student benefit and success. Ensures strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

+ Current Massachusetts RN License (good standing) required.

+ Minimum of one year experience in lesson planning, lesson delivery, student evaluation and remediation in a position such as in-service coordinator or staff educator in a healthcare setting; OR Completion of a minimum of 24 Board of Registration in Nursing approved continuing education hours in curriculum development, teaching adult learners and student evaluation

+ Minimum of two years of nursing experience as an RN, at least one year of which was in the provision of nursing services in a nursing home

+ Previous Job Corps experience preferred.

+ Must possess a valid Drivers License and meet company insurability requirements.

Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and/or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance. (Depending upon trade)
