    Field Support/Helpdesk Specialist

     

    We are in search of a Field Support/Helpdesk Specialist to join our team at North Country Business Products! If you are a self-motivated individual who likes the ever-evolving changes in technology and enjoys a mix of being out in the field as well as working in a helpdesk environment, we want to meet you! Driving is required for this position, as it is a field support role, traveling to client sites, servicing Point of sale products! * Company car is provided.

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

     

    + A two-year technical degree is preferred but not required.

    + Experience in Computer software and hardware preferred.

    + Network connectivity and related software experience is a plus!

    + A good driving record and a valid driver’s license are required.

     

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

     

    + Troubleshoot and repair basic software, hardware, networking, and peripheral issues both remotely and at the client’s location.

    + Stage and install new equipment at client locations.

    + Maintain accurate and organized inventory.

    + Assist with installation projects: deliver hardware, set up at client site, uninstall old equipment, and provide documentation.

    + Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

    + Travel to client sites will be required (100-250 miles radius)
