    The Logistics Transportation Operations Analyst is responsible for analyzing the current market conditions and economic situations, continuously evaluating the efficiency of the surface transportation sector's internal cost route by route. Leveraging this analysis, the analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing transportation pricing strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency in our logistics operations.

    Responsibilities:

    + Transportation Data Analytics:

    + Conducting internal and external transportation data analytics and cost research to support carrier negotiation.

    + Ability to create dynamic reporting for key measurable and performance tracking.

    + Carrier Negotiation:

    + Requesting quotes from carriers and analyze current market costs to make decisions to better serve the organization.

    + Coordinating transport activities, ensuring efficient communication, and completing necessary paperwork.

    + Supplier Evaluation and Comparison:

    + Evaluate suppliers’ quotes and compile a detailed assessment of cost element breakdowns.

    + Maintain quote comparison with financial simulation and provide data for carrier selection.

    + Transportation Operation:

    + Proven experience communicating and working with multiple divisions (customer service, transportation, pricing and procurement)

    + Understanding transportation DOT regulations, lead times, and transportation market changes.

    Requirements

    Requirements/Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or related field.

    + 3+ years of experience as a Logistics Analyst or a similar role, demonstrating progressively increasing responsibilities and accomplishments.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel, with the ability to manipulate large datasets and create complex reports.

    + Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights to improve logistics operations.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders at all levels.

    + Comfortable working with tables, charts, and numbers to present findings and recommendations.

    + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

    + Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

    + Willingness to work additional hours outside of regularly scheduled business hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.

    + Travel %: Ability to travel up to 20% in U.S.
