Delaware North Gaming is seeking a full-time Surveillance Officer to join our team at Hamburg Gaming in Hamburg, New York. As a Surveillance Officer, you will be conducting facility-wide surveillance camera operations to assist in the protection and safety of the property for guests and team members.

What will you do?

+ Enforce State Video Lottery regulations and ensure compliance

+ Monitor gaming room floor and cash operations for procedural violations and illegal activity

+ Utilize audio and video equipment to observe business operations and write timely reports on any violations

+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of camera locations, view angles, and ensure proper functioning of surveillance equipment

+ Monitor facility intrusion and panic alarms, reporting any deficiencies promptly

More about you

+ High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred

+ Minimum of 1 year of related experience within surveillance

+ Proficient in the use of surveillance audio and video equipment

+ Ability to obtain a New York State Video Gaming License

+ Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and data input and record keeping

Physical requirements

+ Ability to hear and speak to communicate on two-way radio

+ Ability to sit for long periods of time

+ Work environment may consist of a dark area viewing video monitors for entire shift

+ Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
