    Description

    We are seeking caring people for rewarding part-time, one-to-one positions, providing Early Intervention Respite services for infants, up to 3 years old, who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities or developmental delays.

     

    Respite staff will provide 1:1 temporary care/supervision of the children with special needs, which will provide the parent/caregiver a break from everyday routines.

     

    Staff will provide a safe environment and may include social and community activities.

     

    Employees who work for Early Intervention Respite should be flexible and self-motivated. Time management skills are definitely important in this position which requires a great deal of independence.

     

    Day hours, after-school, early evening and weekend hours are available for Early Intervention.

     

    SCHEDULE/HOURS: 5 hours per week/Flexible

     

    STARTING SALARY: $ 19.00 to $ 20.90 per hour, with additional shift differentials as applicable

    Minimum Requirements

    + Acceptable NYS Driver's License and a reliable vehicle are preferred

    + Computer skills
