$110,493 - $142,472 a year

Description

The Department of Medicine, Division of Hospital Medicine is seeking a Hospitalist.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to a combination of patient care, teaching, quality improvement, and/or community service activities. Will provide care to hospitalize patients on the Hospital Medicine Service as the attending of record, and to patients on other services as a Consultant. Teaching of medical students, and residents is expected in the School of Medicine and Dentistry. Research activities will enhance your academic career and the academic and clinical excellence of our hospital and Department of Medicine.

Qualifications

Must obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date

Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry

Must meet all credentialing requirements

Eligible for Board Certification in Internal Medicine

Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required

Compliance with University and New York State health requirements

The referenced pay range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Indvidual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
