Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking an **Food Production Manager** for **Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center** located in **Boston, MA** . In this role you will work primarily early morning and day time hours Monday-Friday, but will need the flexibility to work as the manager on duty every third weekend. In this role you will oversee all procurement for the Food Services operation in a 750+ bed hospital, supporting 3 separate kitchens and 3 retail outlets across both campuses.

What You'll Do

+ work with the Executive Chefs to oversee all food services purchasing across three kitchens

+ implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for the hospital

+ maintain food and health & safety logs within Sodexo and hospital guidelines and requirements

+ provide direction to all front line associates

What You Bring

+ experience in a food production setting, healthcare environment would be a plus

+ strong financial acumen, and experience with ordering and inventory management

+ dedication to patients and customers to ensure our Sodexo CARES (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Enthusiasm and Service) behaviors are followed daily

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
