Leidos is seeking a **Modeling and Simulation Engineer** to support groundbreaking missions at the **National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC)** and the **National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC)** located at **Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio** .     What You'll Do:

    _As a key contributor to our team, you will:_

    + Dive deep into research on **foreign satellite systems** to uncover critical insights.

    + Develop cutting-edge **space and counter-space models and simulations** that shape intelligence analysis objectives.

    + Assess the technical capabilities and potential of **foreign space systems** to inform impactful decision-making.

    + Integrate advanced **space models and vehicle components** into current modeling environments.

    + Deliver **high-confidence solutions** to complex challenges in space systems analysis.

    Skills We Value:

    _We are looking for exceptional individuals who bring:_

    + **Bachelor’s degree in a related field** and 4+ years of experience in **Modeling & Simulation (M&S)** or a Master’s degree and 2+ years of experience in **Modeling & Simulation (M&S).** Additional experience, certifications, or trainings may be considered in lieu of a degree.

    + Active DoD Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI

    + Expertise in **MATLAB/Simulink** and related toolboxes for designing and documenting simulations.

    + Proficiency in both **C++ (3+ years)** and **Python (2+ years)** to support innovative development.

    + A collaborative mindset and strong analytical skills to thrive both independently and within dynamic teams.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    _While not required, these will set you apart:_

    + An **active DoD TS/SCI clearance.**

    + Advanced educational credentials such as a **BS or higher in Electrical Engineering** .

    + Proven experience within the **Intelligence Community** at NASIC/NSIC.

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
