Summary:

Data, Developer and AI Infrastructure (DDAI) builds and operates systems solving some of the most critical and interesting technical challenges at Meta. Our infrastructure handles massive amounts of data, optimizes engineering productivity, and enables cutting-edge AI innovation.The Business Operations Manager will be the connective tissue that amplifies the perspective of our leadership team and helps us operate efficiently, strategically and as a lean horizontal, highly cross-functional organization.

Required Skills:

Business Operations Manager, Data, Developer and AI Infrastructure Responsibilities:

1. Build and execute upon a review structure of high priority workstreams, ensuring a sensible cadence, coaching on pre-reads, tracking of action items, and dissemination of outcomes.

2. Build and execute upon a rhythm of the business that forecasts organization-wide events and community plans to org leaders.

3. Draft internal communications on behalf of organizational leaders including long-form posts and live presentations.

4. Operate as the in- depth subject-matter of headcount and operational expenses for the organization. Lead its annual budget planning process.

5. Drive the closing of open headcount through partnership with the recruiting team and regular communication with hiring managers.

6. Drive thoughtful internal initiatives and ensure progress on priority work-streams, help build decision-making frameworks and deliverables

7. In partnership with the admin team, lead the planning and execution of All-Hands and offsite events.

8. In partnership with HR, build and execute upon an onboarding structure that enables new hires to ramp efficiently and effectively.

9. In partnership with HR, build and execute upon a manager engagement strategy, ensuring it weaves together with the centrally managed programming.

10. Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time

Minimum Qualifications:

11. 10+ years of experience with program management, project management, strategy, management consulting, or operations

12. 2+ years of experience supporting executives, director level and above as a program manager or Chief of Staff

13. 3+ years of experience working embedded within engineering teams translating technical reviews to program management of product strategy or equivalent experience

14. Quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with business acumen

15. Effective prose and clear presentations skills with a high level of craft

16. Experience problem-solving individually and in a group setting

17. Proven track-record of organizing, developing, and executing strategy projects that deliver results

18. Experience of consistently working under your own initiative and in a highly organized fashion to track top organization priorities, identify efficiencies and drive alignment across teams

19. Experience partnering with cross-functional leadership to turn insights into actions

20. Experience with Microsoft and Google Suites, advanced skills in Excel

21. Experience navigating business structures while maintaining confidentiality and discretion

22. You are highly organized, demonstrate world class project management, and can shift seamlessly between strategic counsel and smaller daily tasks.

23. You are a team-player with proven communication skills who enjoys working in a dynamic, high-expectations environment who rapidly earns credibility when interacting with all levels of the organization.

24. BA/BS degree in business, finance, or engineering or and/or MBA equivalent

25. Infrastructure experience in an engineering, financial, project management, or operational capacity

Public Compensation:

$145,000/year to $204,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
