Minimum Qualifications:

High school or equivalent. 2 years related experience.

**Job Description** :

To provide technical skills in performing routine laboratory tests.

Job Duties:

+ Prepares and maintains laboratory supplies, specimens, and equipment.

+ Prepares a variety of chemicals, solutions, and reagents.

+ May feed, care, and prepare laboratory animals for experimentation.

+ Participates in medical or scientific experiments.

+ Collects specimens to be used for diagnostic purposes.

+ Prepares and stains slides for microscopic analysis.

+ Performs quality control procedures.

+ Assists in maintaining records of inventory and maintenance.

+ Aids in the instruction of students and medical personnel in laboratory procedures.

+ Adheres to internal controls established for department.

+ Performs related duties as required.

EQUIPMENT:

Standard laboratory equipment.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Standard laboratory environment

Salary Range:

Commensurate with experience $34,400 - $43,000
