    Summary

    The purpose of the Feed Mill Lead is to be directly involved in feed delivery, production, receiving needs over see daily operations in designated areas must be able to fill in all positions throughout the feed mill.

    Shift Hours:

    Generally **Monday - Friday 1** **st** **Shift - 6:00am to 4:00pm,** or as scheduled by management with {2} 15 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch break. Over time may be scheduled as needed and directed by management.. Must be able to work any shift when needed by management.

     

    **Weekends** if needed by operations and approved by management.

    Compensation:

    This position has a target wage of $28.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available.

    Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    1. Responsible for overseeing feed scheduling all feed deliveries to farms daily, direct trucks to shop for PM’s as needed

    2. Perform checks and balances on all feed deliveries daily.

    3. Must be able to perform any job at the mill (fill in any position as needed by management)

    4. Must be able to communicate with management and associates

    5. Maintain associated documentation with feed delivery to follow FSMA, PVP and ORGANIC PROGRAMS

    6. Perform any other duties as outlined by management and necessary for operation. Train new associates when needed on any shift.

    Minimum Education

    High School or equivalent. High School level reading, writing, and math skills are required.

    Experience Requirements

    Must have knowledge of feed mill practices and worked in a feed mill setting

    Experience Preferred

    Basic knowledge of Windows based systems and the ability to navigate in a Windows based PC environment
