    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a versatile and experienced Manufacturing Quality Engineers to provide onsite support for aerospace production operations. These roles combine elements of manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be comfortable on the production floor, skilled in both process optimization and quality compliance, and capable of working cross-functionally to support product flow, resolve issues, and drive improvements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Analyze and resolve production and quality issues through hands-on Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA)

    * Develop and update work instructions and control plans in alignment with QMS and production standards

    * Set up and monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) programs to maintain and improve process performance

    * Conduct time studies, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to support takt time and throughput

    * Support or lead MRB (Material Review Board) investigations and drive disposition activities

    * Monitor non-conformances, assess trends, and implement data-driven improvements

    * Perform process audits and support internal/external compliance to AS9100, ISO, and customer standards

    * Utilize MES and ERP systems to manage workflows, track production data, and execute process changes

    * Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to launch new processes or resolve recurring issues

    * Lead or participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen events, or Value Stream Mapping

    Core Qualifications:

    * Bachelor"s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field)

    * Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or quality engineering role

    * Strong problem-solving skills and working knowledge of RCCA, SPC, and process auditing

    * Proficient in interpreting blueprints, process specs, and technical documentation

    * Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, or high-precision manufacturing environments

    * Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO quality standards

    * Working knowledge of MES and ERP systems (e.g., Solumina, SAP, Oracle)

    * U.S. Citizenship required due to the nature of the work

    Preferred Qualifications:

    * Experience with PFMEA, PPAP, or APQP methodologies

    * Internal Auditor certification (e.g., AS9100 REV D)

    * Exposure to automation, robotics, optics, or advanced manufacturing technologies

    * Strong Excel or data analytics skills (Power BI, Minitab, etc.)

    * Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) or phased production programs

Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $45.00-55.00 per hour. Guidelines vary based on many factors including but not limited to education, qualifications, experience, discipline, geographic location, market, and business considerations.
