Join our Valve Design and Repair team at Siemens Energy, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting the steam turbine valve product throughout its lifecycle. Imagine collaborating with a diverse team to tackle operational questions, develop innovative products, and enhance service solutions. You will lead design analyses, conduct design reviews, and create upgrades and repair methods that ensure the integrity of our valve products. Your contributions will directly impact our customers and help Siemens Energy maintain its position as a leader in the energy sector.

How You’ll Make an Impact

+ **Champion the design of steam turbine valves, hydraulic actuators, and auxiliary components for new apparatus, modernization, and service applications.**

+ **Own the engineering efforts for repair orders, overseeing product definition, inspections, repairs, and installations.**

+ **Develop and release comprehensive product definition documents, including graphics, bills of materials, and process specifications.**

+ **Coordinate customer orders for steam turbine valves and supervise the production of new valve products.**

+ **Conduct engineering studies for component life assessments and support field service engineers in outage recovery and root cause investigations.**

What You Bring

+ **A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of two years of relevant engineering experience.**

+ **Proficiency in strength of materials, structural analysis, and finite element analysis tools.**

+ **Experience leading technical projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve consensus.**

+ **Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present technical information effectively to diverse audiences.**

+ **Familiarity with SAP and TeamCenter, along with experience in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and mechanical vibrations is preferred.**

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
