    JOB SUMMARY:

    Assumes responsibility for all clerical functions on a nursing unit, including the transcription of all physician orders, transport of specimens, room turnover/set up, stocking rooms, Escort patients to assigned patient care areas, SMS registration of patients. Registration of patients as needed.

    EDUCATION:

    + High school graduate; some college preferred.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    + Emergency Department clerical experience preferred.

    + Successful completion of all orientation programs.
