• Accounts Payable Clerk

    Robert Half Finance & Accounting (Roseville, MN)


    Description We are on the hunt for an Accounts Payable Clerk to become a part of our manufacturing team based in Roseville, Minnesota. In this role, you will be tasked with handling various aspects of accounts payable, including processing invoices, maintaining vendor data, and providing exceptional customer service to both vendors and internal departments.

    Responsibilities:

    • Efficiently process various types of invoices, including purchase order, non-purchase order, and freight invoices.

    • Liaise with internal departments to resolve any discrepancies in invoices.

    • Conduct weekly check runs preparation and processing.

    • Exhibit exceptional customer service skills when responding to vendor inquiries and reviewing their statements.

    • Regularly create and distribute reports on V-hold, past due, and shipment dates.

    • Investigate aging items on the Received not Vouchered Report and aged freight accruals and write them off as needed.

    • Ensure the accuracy of vendor master data and its supporting documents, maintaining them as required.

    • Exhibit a mindset of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process improvements and efficiencies.

    • Provide support to other team members when necessary, including the Procurement Card Administrator.

    • Adhere to SOX procedures and the company's policies and procedures. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential.

    • Must possess strong skills in Accounts Payable (AP).

    • Experience with Check Runs is required.

    • Should be well-versed in Coding Invoices.

    • Ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently.

    • Must have experience in Invoice Processing.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.

    • Familiarity with QuickBooks is a must.

    • Knowledge of JDE EnterpriseOne is required.

    • Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is beneficial.
