    Robert Half Finance & Accounting (Kemah, TX)


    Description We are in the search for a Billing Specialist to join our team in Kemah, Texas. As a Billing Specialist, you will be tasked with managing project billing processes, interpreting and extracting billing information from contracts, and handling AIA billing procedures.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensuring accurate and efficient processing of portal invoicing and timely submissions via client platforms.

    • Reviewing and interpreting contracts to extract relevant information for billing, aligning it accurately with project terms and conditions.

    • Managing the execution of AIA billing processes, generating necessary documents and maintaining compliance with guidelines.

    • Preparing and tracking detailed time-and-material invoices based on the scope of projects.

    • Assisting in the preparation and submission of liens when required, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to legal procedures.

    • Collaborating with other team members to streamline billing cycles and efficiently resolve discrepancies.

    • Maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving and demonstrating excellent attention to detail.

    • Contributing effectively in a collaborative office setting while also demonstrating the ability to work independently. Requirements • At least 3 years of experience in a Billing Specialist role or similar

    • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Experience in handling inbound calls in a detail oriented manner

    • Comprehensive understanding of AIA Billing procedures

    • Familiarity with Project Billing processes

    • Knowledge of Liens and their management

    • Proficiency in using Pivot Table functions

    • Experience with the VLOOKUP function in Excel
