    Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a **School Psychology Specialist** to work at a facility in **Conway, AR.** These are _registry_ positions with our company.

     

    **Pay Rate:** $90 / hour

     

    *1099

    Shift Details:

    + Monday-Friday (40 hours per week)

    Qualifications:

    + **Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a School Psychology Specialist**

    + **Must be Certified as a School Psychology Specialist by the Arkansas Department of Education.**

    + Ability to build rapport with patients

    + Compassionate and caring demeanor

    + Familiarity with medical terminology

    + CPR card issued by the American Heart Association

    + Must have up to date certification in the state of **AR**

    Responsibilities:

    + **Assessing students' needs** : Conducting psychological evaluations to understand students' academic, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

    + **Providing counseling** : Offering individual or group therapy to students dealing with issues like anxiety, depression, or social difficulties.

    + **Consulting with staff** : Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies for supporting students' success.

    + **Developing interventions** : Creating plans to help students with learning difficulties, behavioral problems, or emotional issues.

    + **Promoting mental health** : Organizing programs to raise awareness about mental health and emotional well-being in the school community.

    + **Crisis intervention** : Providing support during emergencies, such as trauma or incidents affecting students' safety and well-being.
