    Our acute care occupational therapy program aims to develop occupational therapists who provide innovative and evidence-based care across the spectrum of acute care and possess the essential system skills within an interdisciplinary team.

    This fellowship, accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association, aims to develop occupational therapists who will:

    - Provide innovative and evidence-based care to the medically complex population based on their client factors, performance skills and occupational profile.

     

    - Advocate for and advance the integral role of occupational therapy and rehabilitation in the management and prevention of impairments.

     

    - Possess system skills, such as outcome measurement, quality improvement, project management and leadership, within an interdisciplinary team.

    - 12-month long program

    - Research opportunities, including early mobility and activity in the ICU, preventing readmissions, and diagnosis-specific quality improvement

    **This is a position with Johns Hopkins Hospital. This application is for the Fellowship position.     The program is open to new graduates and practicing clinicians who are current AOTA members and have:

    + Bachelor of Science, Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited occupational therapy academic program

    + License from the Maryland Board of Occupational Therapy Practice (or qualified to obtain one)

    + Completed clinical internships as required by the academic program

    + AHA CPR certification

     

    Salary: 40,000-45,000

    The listed salary range represents the minimum and maximum Johns Hopkins University offers for this position, based on a good faith estimate at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as location, skills, experience, market conditions, education, and internal equity. Not all candidates will qualify for the highest salary in the range.
