    Consolidated Construction Co., Inc (Rapid City, SD)


    We are growing and looking to fill an open Architect position!  If you are an experienced Architect who is excited to bring your skills to a new work environment and have experience working in a Design/Build company, we want to hear from you!

    Job Purpose:

    Perform Project Design and have excellent communication skills for client interface.

    Duties:

    + Maintain lead planning and design phase of project consistent with project development schedule

    + Stay abreast of the latest code changes and communicate as needed

    + Provide effective design solutions for clients

    + Perform preliminary and final code reviews

    + Multi task and prioritize projects as needed

    + Continually refresh and update job knowledge

    + Accompany Business Development on client meetings

    + Perform building program

    + Produce preliminary, schematic design and construction documents

    + Coordinate designs

    + Structural

    + Civil

    + MEP

    + Responsible for construction document quality control on assigned projects

    + Periodic travel throughout the Midwest, for limited periods of time

    Skills/Qualifications:

    + Must be a registered Architect

    + Proficient in Revit

    + Minimum 5 years experience working in Design Build environment

    + Computer skills are required to maintain written communication with clients and co-workers (MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook)

    + Understand project cost
