The **Microsoft Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Engineer** will design and deploy cloud infrastructure solutions, manage Microsoft infrastructure projects, and collaborate with software developers and hardware engineers to evaluate and implement IT solutions.

Responsibilities

+ Design and deploy cloud infrastructure solutions.

+ Manage Microsoft infrastructure-related projects.

+ Design and implement Microsoft cloud-related technologies within schedule, meeting customer requirements.

+ Administer and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, MS Exchange Online, O365, and Azure cloud environments.

+ Maintain support and administration of production MS SQL database servers.

+ Utilize strong scripting and automation skills to enhance system performance and reliability.

+ Provide additional support to client operating teams as needed.

+ Collaborate with software developers and hardware engineers to evaluate and implement changes to IT systems.

+ Analyze current IT infrastructure and design target solutions based on requirements.

+ Present proposed solutions to stakeholders and project sponsors.

+ Implement, configure, and migrate technologies and data according to the designed final architecture.

+ Ensure the security and compliance of server and cloud environments.

Qualifications

+ Minimum of four (4) years experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, MS Exchange Online, O365, Azure cloud technology, and VMware virtualization in data center environments.

+ Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

+ High-level understanding of server and cloud security concepts, desktop applications, and operating systems. Strong scripting and automation skills, as well as general knowledge of networking fundamentals and other IT infrastructure technologies, are essential.

+ Proficiency in maintenance, support, and administration of production MS SQL database servers.

+ Strong scripting and automation experience (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI).

+ General knowledge of networking fundamentals and IT infrastructure technologies (networks, operating systems, virtualization platforms, databases, and middleware systems).

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

_Preferred Skills:_

+ Experience with cloud migration projects and hybrid cloud environments.

+ Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

+ Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Estimated Salary/Wage

USD $100,000.00/Yr. Up to USD $130,000.00/Yr.
