Job Summary
Responsible for assisting in the classrooms with the overall functions in a providing a warm, safe and nurturing learning experience while communicating the goals, guidelines, and standards of the center.

Qualifications
+ Education : High School Diploma or GED, Required. Credentials EDU 119 or equilvency as defined by DHHS Education Workforce, Preferred.
+ Experience : Preferred.
+ Licensure/Certification: NC CDL License, Preferred. Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid within 2 months of hire, Required. ITS SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) within 2 months of hire, Required. BSAC (Basic School Age) for those working with school age children, Required. DHHS NC Division of Child Development Criminal Background letter and education verification or workforce letter (within 60 days).
+ Additional Skills (required): BSAC required or those working with school age children and CDL if driving the bus if applicable. Maintain training hours requirements as outlined for substitutes by regulatory compliance.
+ Additional Skills (preferred): The ability to work a variety of work schedules and to work effectively in all classrooms within the centers.
