The mission of the Enterprise Infrastructure & Security (EIS) team is to provide infrastructure, data, and security services to Meta and its partners. This requires unconventional thinking and lightning-fast, nimble solutions. We build enterprise products for Meta first.Meta seeks a manager for the Enterprise Storage team. This team interacts with a broad array of internal business, product and partners to deliver a common, scalable, and secure platform to run applications and services powering the entire company.
Required Skills:
Enterprise Systems Engineering Manager Responsibilities:
1. Lead a team responsible for a diverse set of infrastructure technologies
2. Contribute to technical architectures, tooling needs, automation plans and other issues and create comprehensive plans for prioritizing technical enhancements
3. Work closely with network engineering, security and core infrastructure teams to plan and execute against a broad array of business and product needs leveraging existing Facebook tooling and infrastructure whenever feasible
4. Drive efficiency while leveraging automation and innovation to scale to support Meta needs
5. Work with a diverse set of enterprise, research and engineering teams to provide Client infrastructure and support
6. Capacity planning, forecasting/asset lifecycle management and budget management
7. Help engineers develop their careers, assigning them to projects tailored to their skill levels, long-term skill development, personalities, and work styles
8. Balance the need to “keep things running” with allocating time to long-term, high-impact projects
Minimum Qualifications:

9. BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience
10. 5+ years experience leading and managing teams within an engineering organization
11. Experience building or structuring organizations
12. Experience with multi-technology vendors
13. Proven relationship management experience and experience working within a global organization
14. Experience thinking strategically with analytical and problem-solving experience
15. Experience in identifying, utilizing and communicating service level performance metrics

Public Compensation:
$169,000/year to $233,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
