    Job Summary

    Summary:

    The Catering Sales Coordinator will be responsible for clerical functions and administrative support for the Catering Sales Department. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and driven professional - able to collaborate with a range of stakeholders to plan and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

    Detailed Responsibilities

    - Answer telephones, emails, and direct inquiries in a professional and client centric manner.

     

    - Creating banquet event orders (BEO's) and catering agreements in appropriate system and submitting for client signature in accordance with venue deadlines.

     

    - Assist in preparation of end of month financial reports.

     

    - Handling client billing to ensure accurate and timely payment of deposits and final payments.

     

    - Participating in weekly BEO meetings with operations and culinary to ensure everyone is aligned on event expectations.

     

    - Upkeep catering sales office tidiness and organization.

     

    - Performs other duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements

    - Hospitality or business degree is preferred

     

    - Experience working on major events is preferred

     

    - High level of computer literacy. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

     

    - Ability and willingness to learn event and creative software systems for daily job functions.

     

    - Extended exposure to computer screen(s).

     

    - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on projects and tasks.

     

    - Passion for hospitality, food and retail

     

    - Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
